As part of my son’s 6th Grade Curriculum, I created a poster onto which he can paste a label every week that in a nutshell refers to a natural disaster that happened somewhere in the world in the time period we’re reading about in The Story of the World Volume 3. He has to find the place on a map, and then plot it on an outline world map included in his Daily Learning Notebook. This will give him some more practice and a better feel as to where certain countries and capitols are situated.
