Even though it is written for the classroom setup, Afrikaans Sonder Grense can be used as curriculum for learning Afrikaans as First Additional Language in home education. We’ve used it for Grade 5 and 6 levels, and my son finds it easy to work through.
I created an Afrikaans Extras book to compliment Buck’s learning experience, but I also created some “lesson plans” for the entire curriculum. This includes instructions neatly set out in daily lessons to be used as guideline as to how much work has to be done every day in order to have worked through the books by the end of the year. (I integrated the lessons from the Afrikaans Sonder Grense and Lees Sonder Grense into one complete curriculum).

Print the pages back to back, and bind them in a neat little book for your child to use with self-study (or with help from you).
