I already said so much about our Daily Learning Activities for my son’s Grade 6 year, but here is another topic I added!
I used the book The Great Composers that very neatly divides some composers of great music into their time-periods. Perfectly fit for my idea studying time-periods according to our scheduled Story of the World!
This book gives background information on the particular composer, including Nationality, Date of Birth, Date of Death, Specialist Genres, and Major Works.
My idea was just to sit and read about the composer with my son, and throughout the week, listen to music composed by them. Just as a relaxing exercise.
