Lynley Dodd is an award-winning author and illustrator from New Zealand. In 1975 she won the prestigious Esther Glen Award with Eve Sutton, and since then has written more than thirty picture books.
Apart from the many other awards she’d won, Lynley was also made a Distinguished Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit for her services to children’s literature in 2002. In 2009 Linley won Auckland University’s Distinguished Alumni Award.
