The story starts of a bit dry, but soon picks up and is quite comical as the events unfold when Drina visits her grandmother at Lullwater Lake with her rescued circus lion right at the time when a selfish developer purchases the nearby castle and becomes “Lord of Lullwater”, enforcing changes that impact the whole community. He gets what he wants, and ultimately wants Drina’s lion, but Drina refuses to go down without a fight, and together with her cousins stand up against the businessman’s strategies.
A heart-warming story about loyalty and the power of friendship. A good read!
